About Ben's Pen Bazaar
Hello and Welcome!
My name is Ben Mawhorter and I have been buying, selling and trading vintage and moderns pens, pencils and other associated accoutrement for over forty years.
This site will feature mostly unrestored pens and accessories unless noted to the contrary. I believe that most savvy pen users prefer their own repair and restoration specialists. I will include links to several well respected repair and restoration specialists here on my site for those that need a reference.
My philosophy is to provide well inspected and clearly described pens and accoutrement at an affordable price relative to the current retail market. I grew up scouring Antique fairs and Flea markets for old unrestored pens and believe in the simplicity of selling items as found and allowing the next owner the opportunity to restore as they see fit, hence why I am calling it Ben's Pen Bazaar!
